| What is Loosegroove ? |
|
Loosegroove is a 5-guy-1-girl DJ outfit based in Bristol, UK. Loosegroove have been playing the Bristol & London bar/club scenes and the UK summer festival circuit since 2002.

| Who are Loosegroove ? |
|
| Loosegroove are Greg, Ben, Ivan, James, Charlie & Helen DJing under the names Boomslang, Benjammin', Enormousson, Jams, DJ CJ and Dr Q respectively.

| Are you guys any good ? |
|
We like to think so.
(If you like good music across the spectrum and aren't fixated by spectacle scratch DJs or certain single-style Ibiza DJs then you'll probably think so too.)

| What kind of music do you play ? |
|
We serve up a healthy dose of the finest funk, soul, beats, breaks, reggae, electrogroove, dancehall & whatever!
Seriously, between the 6 of us, we cover a lot of bases. The music we play really depends on the setting (bar vs. club vs. party etc.) and the mood (ours and yours).

| What's the deal with the stormtrooper ? |
|
It's actually Bruce Lee wearing a stormtrooper helmet. We found it somewhere on the web and have since adopted it as our mascot.
(Not sure where we found it, if it's yours and you're unhappy with us then drop us a line. Although, then we'd need another mascot...)

| Do you dress up as stormtroopers when you play ? |

No.

| Isn't there another Loosegroove ? |
|
Yes, there was an American record label called Loosegroove Records. It was founded by Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam fame.

| Do you guys have anything to do with them ? |
|
No.

| Do you do weddings / parties / bar-mitzvahs ? |
|
Happily. We've done some weddings in the past and plenty of parties. Our music collections are broad enough to cater for most tastes and events. If you do have us for your wedding, it's bound to be a funky one!

Our rates depend on where you're based and what you require, whether it's just us, or us & speakers & lights etc.
